Abattoirs used for the slaughtering of ostritches must comply with the hygiene controls stipulated by importing countries in Europe and world-wide.Ostrich meat leaving the premises must be the very best that can be  offered. Cuts should be vacuum sealed in bags of about 2,5 kg each before being packaged in 10 kg boxes. The meat is exported either fresh or frozen.  Choice ostrich meat must be tender yet firm in texture. Proof of complyig with the requirements of this enquiry to be provided by the supplier.
